Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2515 Central Park Ave., has planned virtual Christmas Eve services, beginning with a recorded live Nativity walk-though on FaceBook Premier and YouTube. The walk, from 4 to 4:30 p.m., proceeds through a group of shepherds, a nativity scene with baby, and ends with wise persons. Music and readings will accompany each scene, which will be populated by church family members dressed in costume.

All are welcome to watch these videos; Facebook Premiere allows the most participation but the videos will be available on Facebook and YouTube at any time.

At 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. there will be traditional Lessons and Carols on FaceBook and YouTube.

Northminster officials said in their press release about the Christmas Eve event, “We were moved by community support when our Black Lives Matter to God and to US banner was defaced and hope that more than just church members will share this Christmas story.”
