Public Services Bureau Chief Edgar Cano issued the following weather update for Saturday and Sunday:
“The next weather system should make its way into Evanston Saturday evening. Snow will be light to moderate a majority of the time with some bursts of heavy snow possible. Projected snow total for Evanston is between 6 and 8 inches; leaning closer to 8.”
100% chance of snow developing around 6 p.m.
6 p.m. to 12 a.m.: 3.0 to 3.5 in. of accumulation
100% chance of snow continuing through 7a.m.
12-7 a.m.: 2 to 3 in. of accumulation
7 a.m.-7 p.m.: 1 to 2 in. of accumulation (lake enhancement)
7-10 p.m.: Trace
