Welcome to the Evanston RoundCast – the second episode of the RoundTable’s podcast.

In this episode, veteran city reporter Bob Seidenberg interviews three candidates for Fourth Ward Alderman in the February 23rd primary: Jonathan Nieuwsma, Diane Goldring, and Don Wilson. The two other candidates running for the Fourth Ward primary, Patricia Connolly and Sari Kadison-Shapiro, did not participate.

There was debate around the renovations and price of the Robert Crown Community Center, transparency and accountability of Evanston government, as well as affordable housing practices in the Fourth Ward.

In the next episode, the RoundCast hosts a discussion with the candidates from the Eighth Ward. The RoundCast also will focus in the weeks ahead on other key areas of RoundTable coverage, including schools, arts and culture and social justice issues.

This episode was produced and edited by Evanston RoundTable Editorial Intern Sam Stroozas.

Evanston RoundTable Media NFP does not endorse candidates for political office.

The RoundCast also is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Stitcher.
