Masked People of the Day: The Chiss Family

President Joe Biden has said he will ask everyone to wear a mask for the first 100 days of his administration to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Judy Chiss sent the photo above with the note: “Family celebrated my son Daniel’s birthday with a masked hike through Harms Woods. There was no cake or candles or singing at this celebration, but there were 9 family members and a very energetic pooch trekking along on the narrow, rutted trails in the snow-covered forest. Those posing in the drifts are (from right) Daniel Chiss, Leah Chiss, Lisa Chiss, Jonah Chiss, and Jake Chiss.

From now until April 30, the RoundTable will post a photo of someone wearing a mask to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please send photos of yourself, your family or friends wearing a mask to editor@evanstonroundtable.com. Include a short note if you wish.
