Central Street Neighbors Association is hosting a District 65 School Board Candidates Forum on Wednesday, March 17th from 7- 9 PM via a Zoom Webinar. To join the meeting Wednesday, follow the link at the bottom of this email.

There are eight candidates for four board positions. Due to the large number of candidates, we will only be able to address a limited number of questions.  We are asking that interested parties submit questions in advance to:

csnaboard9@gmail.com

That will allow time to screen and combine similar questions. While the Q&A feature will be available during the webinar we expect that most questions asked live will come from email submissions.

In the next few days we will be updating our web site with background information about District 65 and the most prominent issues. So please check it out before the forum.

Please remember to send your questions to csnaboard9@gmail.com ahead of the meeting.

Questions asked using the Q&A feature and not addressed live will be passed along to the candidates after the meeting so they can answer these via campaign websites and emails as appropriate.

No advance registration is required but our Zoom license limits our capacity to the first 500 attendees to log in.

Jeff Smith will be our moderator.  Candidates will have time for a brief opening and closing statement.  Each candidate will be asked to respond to a series of questions.  Because of the size of the panel, we think there will be only 6-7 questions.  Candidates will have a minute and a half to respond.

Eight candidates are running for four seats. Incumbents are marked (Inc.). Links to campaign web sites and Facebook pages are here below:
