April 8, Noon-1 p.m. Library Lunch & Learn  with the Evanston Public Library’s for “Why Native Plants?” as part of its Climate Resilient Communities Series. Register.

April 15, Noon-1 p.m. Climate Coffee with Kumar Jensen, chief sustainability and resilience officer, as he answers questions about CARP. This event will be live-streamed on the City of Evanston’s Facebook page. Join via Zoom.

  • 10 a.m.-Noon. Ecology Center Celebration with family-friendly, socially-distanced activities.
  • 10 a.m.-Noon. Beach Clean-up with City of Evanston and Alliance for the Great Lakes:
  • All day: Self-Organized Neighborhood Clean Ups. Volunteers can pick up gloves and trash bags at the Evanston Ecology Center or Robert Crown Community Center between April 19 and 24.
