The Wildkits lost 8-0 and finished 10-12 on the season.
Evanston’s only baserunners came on a pair of walks. Katy Patton drew a leadoff walk in the 2nd inning and reached second on a passed ball while Jacobson was striking out the side.
In the ETHS 4th, Serafina Goodwill walked with 1 out, advanced on a wild pitch but died at 2nd when Jacobson fanned Patton and Cristal Rodriguez.
Goodwill was the losing pitcher for Evanston despite striking out 11. She allowed 6 hits, including a 2-run home run by Brianna Perez in the 4th to break a scoreless deadlock.
