2021 Starlight Movies in the Park series begins July 31

The City of Evanston’s 2021 Starlight Movies in the Park series will begin on Saturday, July 31 at Lovelace Park with Soul Surfer. The free outdoor movie series will feature 13 movies on Tuesdays and Saturdays through September at park locations throughout Evanston.

All movies will begin at 7 p.m. Movies will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.

  • Saturday, July 31, Lovelace Park, Gross Point Road and Thayer Street, Soul Surfer
  • Tuesday, Aug. 3, Penny Park, Lake Street and Ashland Avenue, Jumanji: The Next Level
  • Saturday, Aug. 7, Larimer Park, Crain Street and Oak Avenue, The Greatest Showman
  • Tuesday, Aug. 10, Baker Park, Keeney Street and Forest Avenue, Aladdin (2019)
  • Saturday, Aug. 14, Dawes Park, Sheridan Road and Church Street, News of the World
  • Tuesday, Aug. 17, James Park, Dodge Avenue and Mulford Street, Raya and the Last Dragon
  • Saturday, Aug. 21, Twiggs Park, Simpson Street and Dodge Avenue, Queen of Katwe
  • Tuesday, Aug. 24, Leahy Park, Lincoln Street and Ridge Avenue, Smallfoot
  • Saturday, Aug. 28, Kamen Park East, South Boulevard and Barton Avenue, The Great Outdoors
  • Saturday, Sept. 4, Elks Park, Mulford Street and Callan Avenue, The Croods: A New Age
  • Saturday, Sept. 11, Larimer Park, Crain Street and Oak Avenue, Captain America: The First Avenger
