The City of Evanston, as part of the My City, Your City, Our City initiative, is holding a free outdoor family event Friday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mason Park. Mason Park is located at Church Street and Florence Avenue.
People can test their skills at an obstacle course, enjoy free food, participate in outdoor games and enjoy free books and activities provided by the Evanston Public Library.
Community members are welcome to park in the Youth & Opportunity United (Y.O.U.) parking lot across from the Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center.
