Evanston residents of all ages are welcome to the Robert Crown Community Block Party, hosted by the Evanston Public Library, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at the new Robert Crown branch library and community center at Main Street and Dodge Avenue.

The free block party will include:
- Music with DIME Dance.
- Games.
- A community art project with Evanston artist Piloto.
- Arts & crafts with Antiracist AF.
- Fun STEM activities.
- Story time with Evanston authors Juleya Woodson and Kira Bigwood.
- Books from Young, Black & Lit.
- Get to know local community organizations like Childcare Network of Evanston, Actors Gymnasium, Y.O.U, Howard Brown Health, Family Focus and Evanston Pride.
- La Cocinita and Tamilito will be selling items from their menus.
