Evanston community members are invited to enjoy fun fall-themed activities for all ages as part of a “First Friday” community building event from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1 at Mason Park, Church Street and Florence Avenue.
The free event will include food, bingo, a corn maze, a movie in the park (“Soul”), raffle prizes and much more. The Evanston Public Library will also be on hand to provide free books and activities. First Friday is a part of the City’s My City, Your City, Our City initiative, which provides safe, fun and enriching activities geared towards youth ages 13 to 18 years old, as well as intergenerational activities for the whole family.
My City, Your City, Our City is presented by the City’s Health and Human Services Department, Parks and Recreation Department and local youth-serving organizations known as The Collective.
