Evanston linebacker Sebastian Cheeks is among four high school football players from Illinois selected to participate in the All-American Bowl all-star game on January 8 in San Antonio, Texas.

Cheeks, a senior who committed to the University of North Carolina, was named to the East roster. The game, broadcast annually by NBC, is a celebration of high school football excellence that brings together the top 100 senior football players in the nation, and has been a major sporting event for the past 20 years.
The contest will be played in the Alamodome with a noon start on January 8. Also named to the all-star rosters from Illinois were Toriano Pride, a defensive back from East St. Louis Senior; Kaleb Brown, a wide receiver from St. Rita; and Tyler Morris, a wide receiver from Plainfield East.
