Thanks to Saturday’s snowfall, a white blanket covers Evanston, and much of the North Shore Canal froze over.

More than 150 children and parents celebrated the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022 at a Noon Year Celebration at Fountain Square Dec. 31 organized by Downtown Evanston.
