One of the last Quonset huts is on the market. Broker Jeff Harkensee, of Colliers real estate, wants to lease or sell this 1948 prefabricated steel structure at 1915 Greenleaf Street. It could be used for auto repair, storage, or as a sports facility or microbrewery with new zoning. Quonsets played a key role after World War II. Built for returning veterans, Northwestern students and Evanston Hospital staff. “There’s nothing like it,” said Harkensee. “I like history. I like older looking things.
