Dyslexia Connection of Evanston will host its first monthly speaker session of the year at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Featured speaker Christopher Woodin, a Harvard grad specialist in the fields of mathematics and learning disabilities and author of the Woodin Math Program books, will address the complexities of instructing math to students with dyslexia.
Woodin heads the elementary and middle school math department at the Landmark School in Beverly, Mass., and is the Yale’s Center for Dyslexia and Creativity primary resource for instructing math to children with language-based learning differences.
