Black history is a part of our shared history every day of the year. Black History Month, Feb. 1- March 1 is a time to step back and more specifically acknowledge the centuries of broad and vibrant contributions Black Americans have made to our culture, the arts, politics and social justice movements. To celebrate, the library has a special collection of programming to highlight these contributions and support the Black community.
