Evanston is a busy place, and sometimes it’s hard to keep up with everything that happens over the weekend. To help us all stay in touch, send your photos to news@evanstonroundtable.com and we will share them with the community.
Is it spring yet? We’ll let these two contrasting submissions speak for themselves. Slide to see the full images.

Evanstonians pursued some artistic hobbies this weekend.
Two little ballerinas, pictured on the left, drew inspiration from a poster at Dance Center Evanston. Residents enjoyed a collage and gouache painting workshop led by Eleanor Peiss-Ferris, pictured on the right, at Studio 215 in the Noyes Cultural Arts Center last Saturday.

Over the weekend, I wrote a RoundTable article in which I sampled menu items inspired by Evanston’s “Hygge Fest,” a series of events inspired by a Danish and Norwegian word that describes a feeling of comfort and coziness. Here’s a slideshow of my food photos. (I hope you’re not too hungry!)

And lastly, check out some of the photos our RoundTable photographers snapped this week.
The babies are back. Temperatures in the 40s bring toddlers to Raymond Park, near downtown. They are (from left) Charlotte, Silas, Gabriel, Jude, Micah and Luna. (Photo by Richard Cahan)
At this time: Sunday at 10:06 a.m. Mark Bishop does the Murph every Sunday. The extreme workout is (get this) a mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats and another mile run. Here he’s heading home through Ladd Arboretum after meeting his Murph partner, Noah Brown, at a nearby pull-up bar. Bishop celebrated his 50th birthday on Saturday night. (Photo by Richard Cahan)
