Downtown Evanston Spring Clean-up

Celebrate Earth Day with Downtown Evanston by volunteering at their Spring Clean Up! Downtown Evanston will provide gloves, bags and pickers and direct volunteers to areas where trash tends to accumulate. The group that collects the most trash throughout the downtown area will receive a prize! RSVP today!

Main-Dempster Mile Earth Day Clean-up

Sign up to help clean along the Main-Dempster Mile on Earth Day! Any volunteers who help with the Earth Day Cleanup will get treats from neighborhood businesses.
Kiwanis Club and ETHS Earth Day Clean-Up
Saturday, April 23, 9 a.m. tot 11 a.m.
After a two-year pandemic induced absence, the 102-year old Kiwanis Club of Evanston will join forces with ETHS students and the ETHS Community Service Dept. for a celebration of Earth Day. Students gather at ETHS at 9 a.m. where they sign in, grab Kiwanis supplied snacks including juice, fresh fruit, water, hot coffee and donuts. They receive a t-shirt, gloves and bags which at the event’s end are filled with trash from areas around the high school.
All We Can Save Circle Book Group

A book group will be co-led by Rachel Rosner, president of Citizens’ Greener Evanston and program consultant for It’s Our Future, a youth-driven climate justice program. Event full.
