High school jump start. Eighth graders sign up to learn more about the Evanston Township High School girls volleyball team at an activities fair. Dozens of groups – including the book club, theater, cheerleaders, pomkits and other sports teams – recruited incoming freshmen. “Volleyball is a great way to get to know new people, form bonds, learn more about the game and learn how to be a better human being,” said new coach Paris McFall.
