Chicago Ballet Arts, 915 Foster St., is celebrating 35 years of excellence, opportunity and inclusion in dance education with its 35th Anniversary Concert. This family friendly performance will be held on Sunday, May 29 at 3:00 p.m., at the Athenaeum Center for Thought and Culture, 2936 N. Southport Ave, Chicago, Illinois.
The concert features students ages 5-18 dancing to the music of Bruch, Corelli, Haydn, Strauss,Tchaikovsky and more in new and re-staged works. With professional lighting, classical music and beautiful costumes, this event is perfect for new and experienced dance enthusiasts alike.
The Anniversary Concert includes 63 children from the Chicagoland area, all of whom are students in Chicago Ballet Arts’ Pre-Professional Division. The school has been consistently recognized for offering high quality, rigorous, inclusive programs, for its diverse student body and for supporting access to the arts through its need based scholarships.
Tickets are $12-20 for children and $25-35 for adults and are available via the Athenaeum Center Box Office at www.athenaeumcenter.org.
