Workers from the city and the fire department install a floating pier in the Church Street Boat Harbor. The pier will house the fire department’s two jet skis used for rescue operations and the park and recreation district’s rescue boat. The watercraft will be dropped off Saturday morning as the beach season opens. They will be moored there through Labor Day. (Photo by Richard Cahan)
