Rock-and-roll into summer with a Jamming Jean Concert on Friday, June 10, with the band Suite Mollie. The lively group of diversely talented artists will delight and energize the crowd with their own variety of funk, rock, soul, R&B and a little Jazz from time to time. With the horns, a slammin’ rhythm section and powerful vocals, they know how to rock the crowd.
Look forward to tunes from fan favorites such as Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Earth, Wind and Fire, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Rick James, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Journey, Outkast, Dap Band, Al Green, Nora Jones, Liquid Soul, Parliament, and many more!
The concert will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday outside the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave. Thanks to generous support from the Levy Senior Center Foundation, this concert is free and open to the public. The Jamming Jean Music Series, named in honor of a former Levy Center member, features music and musicians that reflect Evanston and its cultural diversity.
These lively concerts appeal to all ages. Food from Cocina Azteca and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Guests are asked to bring blankets/chairs and can bring their own beverages for this outdoor event.
