Suli Kamholtz-Roberts and Jack Halliday rehearse a scene from an adaptation of The Decameron in Congregational Park on Lake Street near Judson Avenue. The play is about 10 young people living through the Black Death bubonic plague by telling tales about their pre-pandemic past. “It’s pretty relevant right now,” said director Andrew Biliter. He chose the park because it is reminiscent of a courtyard of a European villa. The play will be performed by Mudlark Theater Company June 16-18 in the park. (Photo by Richard Cahan)
