This episode features one of our favorite families: The Crawfords.

Sydney, Ron, Suzy, Jen and Ronny are an iconic family who were able to bridge lots of cultural backgrounds and stitch the patterns together. They brought people together in magical, organic ways that spanned generations, race, ethnicity, gender and class.

The Crawfords have been such an integral part of people’s Evanston experiences, that people still don’t realize that they no longer reside at 1423 Elmwood. Those who know them must submit that a little bit of the Crawford family is better than nothing at all. And for those who don’t know them, you’re welcome.
