Ryan Bost, a lifelong Evanston resident, lost his life to gun violence on Nov. 9, 2020, at the age of 20. Ryan was one-of-a-kind and an amazing basketball player with a bright future. He was a brother, son, friend and star basketball player at Evanston Township High School. Ryan meant so much to the Evanston community, it’s only fitting that his life be celebrated with the thing he loved most: basketball!
Join the community on Saturday, July 2, for the “24 Hours” Charity Basketball Game in memory of Ryan Bost!
This event will not only celebrate Ryan’s life, but will bring attention to the challenges we face in our community. All proceeds go to Camp Kuumba, a local Black male mentorship camp, and the Warren Cherry Scholarship Fund, which supports ETHS graduates to become teachers, coaches and mentors.
