Alex Pausan turns 11 this week. He wants a virtual reality game for this birthday. “You see a different world,” Alex says. “For example, in Job Simulator, instead of staring at a screen, you are playing an actual job in real life.” Dad Gus is not so sure. He likes sitting together on their Darrow Avenue porch. “We talk to neighbors,” says Gus. “We listen to birds,” says Alex.
