Reading the RoundTable on a smart phone or tablet?

Using your favorite browser on your phone or tablet, you can add a link to the RoundTable to your device’s home screen that will look and function just like an app.

Here are instructions for adding the RoundTable to your device’s home screen.

iPhone

  1. This process is best done using the Safari or Firefox browsers. Instructions for bookmarking the RoundTable are also available for Chrome, but this browser only allow you to bookmark, not add us to your home screen.
  2. Navigate to evanstonroundtable.com, and then press the “share” button. It looks like this:

  1. Scroll down a bit and look for an option labeled “add to home screen.” This will add an icon for the RoundTable to your device screen that you can access – just as you would an app.

Android

A shortcut to the RoundTable also can be added to your Android device home screen. This involves a couple more steps which are described clearly, with illustration, here.
