The City of Evanston and the Evanston Police Department have notified Evanston community members of road closures in the area of Evanston Township High School on Sunday morning, Aug. 21, due to the North Shore Youth Triathlon.
Dodge Avenue will be closed from Church Street to Greenwood Street and Lake Street will be closed from Dodge Avenue to Pitner Avenue. Drivers who are not planning to participate in the event are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes, if possible.
Road closures will start at 6:30 a.m. and end by 10 a.m.
