The Evanston School Children’s Clothing Association’s (ESCCA) Annual Pumpkin Patch event started 31 years ago by Coldwell Banker Realty, which has generously donated the pumpkins throughout the years. All proceeds from the pumpkin sales go directly to the purchase of clothing for Evanston students.
ESCCA is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. ESCCA began during the Great Depression and provides District 65 K-8 children with complete wardrobes, including coats, jeans, shoes, boots and underwear. Over 300 children are clothed every year.
Donations of any type, clothing or monetary are always welcome and appreciated.
Come join us for coffee, cider, donuts, face painting and crafts on Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Independence Park.
