It’s the end of the boating season. City workers remove the floating dock at the Church Street Power Boat Ramp. They also took out the floating dock used by Fire Department rescuers. Next week, the cables and posts on the permanent pier will be removed and the gates to the pier closed until spring for safety. “We usually take out the docks just after Labor Day, but we kept them because of the warm weather,” said supervisor Lukasz Tatara.
