Come to Booked to celebrate Hanukkah with author Sarah Aronson, author of the picture book Brand-New Bubbe at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10
Brand-New Bubbe is geared towards children 4 to 8 years old. In the story, Jillian’s mom remarries, but Jillian isn’t so sure she needs a brand-new Bubbe. She already has a Noni and a Gram – does she really have room for another grandmother? After stewing and simmering for a while, Jillian discovers that family is like good soup – both are better with a heaping helping of love. The book includes recipes for all three grandmas’ soups!
Sarah will read from the book and sign copies of her books. Sarah’s other books for children include Just Like Rube Goldberg and The Wish List Series.
The party will also include a free craft project and a giant dreidel!
