Every member of the audience was required to show proof of COVID vaccination and wear a mask at the weekend performance of A Mexican Christmas by The Newberry Consort. “We make it very clear on our website and we have had few complaints to my knowledge,” said Caryn Jacobs, board president. Artists were permitted to perform without masks, but they were required to be fully vaccinated and were tested the day of the performance. The sold-out performance was at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
