The Evanston Running Club, Commonwealth Running Company, Rogers Park Running Club, Evanston Bicycle Club, Evanston Masters Swimming and the Evanston Flying Turkey Race invite you to join their second annual Evanston Community Blood Drive with Vitalant Evanston Blood Donation Center. 

The Blood Drive runs from Dec. 1 – Jan. 14 with the goal of reaching 50 blood donations at this critical time of year.

The Vitalant Blood Center is located at 2436 Main St. in the row of shops behind the Food 4 Less gas station. Appointments are recommended.

There’s a critical need for blood donations around the holidays, so to show appreciation, all donors will get a gift from Vitalant, and three lucky donors will win $5,000!

Everyone who donates blood, platelets or plasma Dec. 1 through Dec. 25 will automatically be entered to win one of three $5,000 prepaid gift cards AND receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card, all redeemable by email. All donors that donate from Dec. 21 – Jan. 8 will receive a Vitalant long sleeve T-shirt (redeemable by email).
