  1. Megan Twohey should be similarly recognized with an ETHS distinguished alumna award. Her work with Jodi Kantor at the New York Times helped ignite the #MeToo movement. She is as distinguished as any ETHS graduate.

  2. I noted with dismay in the article by Larry Gavin that District 65 has lowered acceptable reading standards by two years. It is hard to believe that educators believe lowering standards helps any student succeed. And they eliminated 18 Reading specialists. I have concern for students. Reading is the bedrock for learning. Thanks. CarolMullins
