Professional dog walker Alexis Bell holds tight to the leash of Percy, a greyhound, as the dog catches sight of two deer in Perkins Woods. “I get a lot from walking dogs,” she said, “way more than expected.” She gets exercise, meets new friends and learns about city neighborhoods. Bell takes up to a dozen dogs on 30-minute strolls (sometimes more than once) every day. She’s been walking dogs since 2009. It’s her favorite job. “This and being a mother,” she said. Curious, what Service does Alexis Bell work for or is she independent? Looking for a possible walker in the near future. Thank you.
