The Woman’s Club of Evanston has been making audiences laugh for a good cause for 70 years with its annual benefit show. This year’s revue, That 70th Show, is no exception.
Members of the Woman’s Club of Evanston write, direct, choreograph and perform an entertaining variety show to benefit a local non-profit. The cast performs parodies of show tunes and popular songs that take on a variety of current topics ranging from the perils of working from home to animals gone wild to embracing questionable fashion choices.
The Woman’s Club of Evanston has proudly supported organizations that make a difference in our community since 1889. Proceeds from the 2023 Revue will be donated to the WCE Community Grants Fund, extending our impact across a broad range of organizations serving under-resourced populations in our community.
This event is an excellent way to have fun while supporting your Evanston community – laughter guaranteed!
The Woman’s Club of Evanston presents That 70th Show, an evening of musical comedy, at 8 p.m. on March 2, 3 and 4, at the club’s historic building at 1702 Chicago Ave.
