Rona Green Taylor joins her 17-year-old daughter Kara Taylor before they take the stage in the 70th annual Woman’s Club of Evanston variety show that raises money for the club’s community grants fund. Rona volunteered to perform for the first time in 2005 when she was pregnant with Kara, her firstborn. Now Rona produces the show and performs with Kara, who will also direct one act. That 70th Show – with a cast of 20 women and one “token male” – runs tonight, Friday and Saturday nights at 1702 Chicago Ave. “It’s very funny show and it’s very fast paced,” said Rona. “But at the end of the day, it’s a fundraiser.” (Photo by Richard Cahan)
