Perspective Gallery, located at 1310-1/2B Chicago Ave., is pleased to announce the work of Anthony Iacuzzi and Dianne Kittle each exploring different aspects of the human condition.
Anthony Iacuzzi’s series, Body Language, is a curated retrospective of informal, mostly candid, portraits of individuals whom he has encountered while traveling in Japan, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States. The image titles reflect his subjective perception of the emotion, attitude, and/or state of mind that each person is projecting. The photographs were digitally enhanced to emphasize the subject’s body language. Iacuzzi welcomes viewers to make their interpretations of what each individual is communicating.
Dianne Kittle’s series, Primordial Collection, is a new body of work investigating creativity in relation to consciousness. This project explores awareness, individuality, and the metamorphosis we experience as we move through our lives. Kittle taps into waking, dreaming, and sleeping states for image-making ideas. The artwork is created by combining an image base on inkjet paper, image transfers, ink, paint, and traditional Japanese paper.
