  1. Here is a direct quote from their guidelines:

    ‘ Applications from Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) organizations, and projects that serve underserved demographics and communities will be favored.’

    So if you are a meritorious, struggling, white artist – are you out of luck? Is this even legal?

    1. The Cultural Fund Grant Guidelines and Eligibility document is seven pages of selection criteria and you have a problem with the one paragraph that advocates for underserved communities.
      You should reconsider labeling yourself as meritorious.
