“What a fun little surprise right outside our front door,” said A.J. Gomberg when he and daughter Vivi came upon a film shoot at the start of their bike ride. “We were trying not to feel sorry for ourselves on spring break for not going anywhere. Look what came to us one block down.” Crews are shooting Season 2 of “The Bear” TV series at Lincolnwood Drive and Harrison Street. Gomberg, a fan of the Chicago-based series on Hulu about a chef who takes over his family’s beef restaurant, pointed out all the stars to his daughter as crews strung holiday lights outside 2447 Lincolnwood Drive.
