There’s nothing like sunshine to bring old friends together. “I haven’t been out like this for two years since COVID,” said Chubby Payne (right), who was hanging outside his Foster Street home Wednesday. “It’s a day that friends stop by.” That’s just what Jerry Kennedy (center) did. He drove over to visit. “We were just checking each other’s trucks out,” Kennedy said. LaJuan Bowen was out walking his dog. They’ve known each other since they were kids at Foster School.
