As part of Fair Housing Month, join Open Communities at the Unitarian Church of Evanston to learn about housing segregation’s past, present, and future on Chicago’s North Shore. The hosts will review some of the policies & practices used to create and maintain housing segregation, look at the local history of housing segregation on Chicago’s North Shore, and explore pathways forward for creating a more inclusive North Shore community.
This event is a collaboration between Open Communities, The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County, and Mr. Dino Robinson, founder of Shorefront Legacy Center.
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 Ridge Ave.
