Elementary and middle school programs operate at the schools and the high school program operates out of Y.O.U.’s headquarters across from ETHS.
Y.O.U. ‘s Out-of-School-Time (OST) Program provides an essential mix of academic support, social-emotional learning, and enrichments 5 days a week after school with integrated mental health services and family engagement. The program encompasses Y.O.U.’s values of relationships, belonging, creativity, and joy. Y.O.U.
Y.O.U. Executive Director of Out-of-School Time Programs April Langworthy says “One skill from Y.O.U. that young people can embrace and bring forward is creativity. How do they think creatively? How do they think in different ways that solve problems? How do they express themselves creatively? Those creative expressions are really important in building skills and talents but also being able to say who you are and who you want to be in the world.”
Y.O.U. carefully designs and selects developmentally-appropriate program components to engage youth along a path of exposure in the Elementary Program, exploration in the Middle School Program, and experience in the High School Program. However, youth at all levels will receive a wide variety of structured learning and enrichment activities, daily nutritious snacks, homework help and academic support, and field trips with additional engagement activities at no cost to the families. Spots are limited. Register your youth now before the spots fill up.
