“This is how you build community,” said volunteer Dan Coyne as he surveys the scene at the ninth annual Taste of Evanston at the Charles Gates Dawes House. The event, hosted by the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club, raised money for two Evanston nonprofits – Connections for the Homeless and Reba Place Development Corp. – as well as local and global Rotary projects.
