Paws and Claws Cat Rescue invites the entire community to its third Rally for Rescues, an annual event that raises money so they can save more homeless felines from euthanasia! The nonprofit feline organization will be celebrating a massive year of growth after they opened their first facility, the Paws and Claws Cat Adoption Center at 829 Chicago Ave., just four months ago.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 23 from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at Baker Park just blocks from the rescue’s Adoption Center. Participants will have access to food including vegan donuts, enjoy family-friendly activities including tie dye, a balloon twister, arts and crafts, and face painting, and free t-shirts. There will also be adoptable cats at the event!
Rally for Rescues is being made possible by partners across the animal welfare, professional service, and small business sectors. Partners for the event include lead sponsor Beer On Central, Lakeshore Dental Associates, Cozy Cats and Daily Dogs, BLVD Vet Ravenswood, Liberation Donuts and Bagel Art. Businesses interested in learning more about sponsorships can email lauren@pawsandclawscatrescue.org.
Special pricing for the event is available to Paws and Claws monthly donors and fosters. To learn more or to register, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/691079345927?aff=oddtdtcreator.
