Due to COVID-19, the Evanston Fourth of July Association decided to replace its traditional 4th of July activities with an alternative virtual celebration.

11 a.m., Show: Behind the Scenes of the 4th Celebration & Parade

2 p.m. Virtual Parade:  Previous parade highlights, public submissions, special guests

8 p.m., Show: Virtual Band Concert & Fireworks Show

Decorating Lawn Chairs

Residents can celebrate the yearly tradition of displaying lawn chairs, only this time it will be on their front lawn July 1-4. Suggested themes are 4th of July, sports, art and music...get creative. Lawn chairs will also be displayed on Central Street.
