His work has been exhibited at galleries throughout the Chicago area including the University of Illinois, C.J. Jung Institute of Chicago, Elmhurst Museum of Art, Maloney Copper Gallery, Gallery 312, among others. He currently is represented by the Morpho Gallery (Chicago), and William Lutz Gallery (Cape Cod, Mass.).
Moran is the Principal of MoranStudios, which creates large scale art projects and installations in various media, including painted murals, mosaics, dyed concrete and stained glass. He is an accomplished muralist, he recently completed a mural for the Evanston restaurant Oceanique.
Born in Cleveland, Bill Moran received his MFA degree in painting from Northwestern University in 1993 where he studied with Ed Paschke, Jim Valerio and Bill Conger. He received his BFA degree in Illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design.
