Edwina Rogers, Executive Director of the Secular Coalition for America, speaks December 1st at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln Avenue in Skokie. Her topic is, &ldquo The Secular Movement&mdash Moving Beyond the Base.&rdquo Rogers will discuss the historic progress of non-theist organizations and how the Secular Coalition of America has worked to unify and facilitate its access to the nation&rsquo s decision makers. She will describe the SCA&rsquo s 2014 initiative to attract women and minorities to the secular movement.
