5th Ward School Community Meeting

District leaders and architectural firm Cordogan Clark will present an update on our planned K-8 public school to be located in the Fifth Ward on the current site of Foster Park. Thanks to community feedback, and City of Evanston staff input, we have zeroed in on a concept. We are getting closer to what our new school might look like!

At this meeting, preliminary floor plan layouts will be shared that include labeled interior spaces. Exterior elevations studies are starting to take form as our Architects move forward with shaping the aesthetics of the school. Our team will also present site amenities currently being planned. We’re excited about the progress being made and look forward to sharing next steps in this process.

NOTE: Spanish interpretation will be provided.

Please note: No decisions regarding programming have been made. The earliest our new Student Assignment Plan will go into effect is the 2025-2026 school year.
