Block Party in the 5th Ward hosted by Connections for the Homeless

Join us on Saturday, July 23rd, for Connections for the Homeless’ first Block Party in Evanston’s 5th Ward!
We’re looking forward to celebrating our neighbors who have supported Connections for the last 37 years.
The Block Party consists of two events: Family Fest (12-4 p.m.) and After Dark (7-11 p.m.).
Family Fest – 12 – 4 p.m.
Spend the afternoon with us! At Foster Field, located at Simpson St. and Ashland Ave., Connections will host family-friendly entertainment and activities for all ages.
Throughout the afternoon, you’ll enjoy DJ entertainment, a gospel brunch, pop-up library, garden tours, face painting & balloon animals, BBQ, inflatables, games, and more.
No registration or tickets are required.Â
After Dark – 7 – 11 p.m.
​Join us in the evening at Double Clutch Brewing Company, located at 2121 Ashland Ave, for live music, craft brews, and food trucks. ​Food truck alley will run along Ashland Ave, featuring local Evanston restaurant partners. A full line up of entertainment is here.
